KBJ consulting has been doing working in HIV/AIDS
prevention for the last 16 years. Her work has taken her to Africa
and South America working with public and private healthcare
agencies to evaluated, design and implement programs to stem the
tide HIV infection has had on the world’s population.
Kim Bouldin-Jones
Kim Bouldin-Jones is an internationally recognized
and a sought after educator specializing in HIV/STD programs for
college aged students. She has done several informational video’s
regarding HIV which are available nationwide. She has presented to
numerous National Conferences on topics ranging from HIV/STD’s
Prevention Programs, Substance Abuse, Diversity, BAACHUS, Binge
Drinking, and Women’s Health Issues. She has presented on Global
Health Issues, Global Youth Leadership and various other topics to
international audiences. Kim Bouldin-Jones has worked with some of
the top universities in the country helping to build prevention
programs or enhance existing ones to be more affective. She has
created HIV/AIDS Policy and Practices for American College Health
Association. She has consulted with agencies including the
Pontical Healthcare Council on Pastoral Care, Vatican City on the
strategies regarding caring for the poor in developing countries.
Ms. Bouldin-Jones has spent years researching and evaluating
programming so each intervention can be cutting edge for the 21st
century and beyond.
Kim Bouldin-Jones started in HIV/AIDS while living
in San Francisco during the 1980s; she completed two practicums
with the San Francisco AIDS Project. Upon moving to St. Louis, Ms.
Bouldin-Jones concentrated on HIV prevention in her work with the
St. Louis Chapter of Planned Parenthood, where she worked until
1993 when she began her work with St. Louis Effort for AIDS. She
started at EFA as the Campus Outreach Coordinator and went on to
head the Prevention Department within the agency. After extensive
training from the Centers for Disease Control, Ms. Bouldin-Jones
went into Disease Intervention to assist the newly infected. Other
areas that Ms. Bouldin-Jones has expertise in are substance abuse,
diversity and binge drinking among college students.
Ms. Bouldin-Jones is certified for Holistic Harm
Reduction, Client-Centered Prevention, American Red Cross HIV
Trainer, American Red Cross African American HIV Trainer and
Orasure (oral HIV testing). She is member of the National
Institutes for Health ERA Commons for Researchers and national
board member for Global Youth Leadership Institute. She has a
Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and lives in St. Louis
with her husband and three children.
